Welcome to our bookshop
We are Russell and Liz (and of course Bertram the reading rook). We are opening a new bookshop in Cardigan, West Wales.
Why books?
Why a book shop? Surely no one reads anymore. Ride a train or the bus, and everyone is looking at their phone. However, as we have researched this idea we have discovered a resurgence in independent bookshops, people who are already doing what we want to do. Along with these local heroes we are choosing to ignore the modern day prophets of doom and believe that books are still valued, reading still a mass pleasure and that people will want a place that provides that.
